Discipline and footprint

In the last years, we have contaminated a lot. We pollute the environment every day, and we don´t buy any ways, we use the car, we buy anything and then we throw in the floor or in the land.

We don´t have conscience of our footprint in the world. We should do programs like recycle by child o any people, but I think there should be the recycling culture and the principal population is the children; in this way we change the thought to pollute, and the next generations will reduce the footprint.

The parents have to teach their children that it is important to take care of the environment and the parents cannot think that it is a game they have to discipline their children in the best form like teach him/her to buy less things, maybe they do not use or is not necessary; also motivate to use a bicycle to move the one place to other and not use a car.

We think that new generation can help to reduce the footprint, only if we change the culture, it is our responsibility.

Marriage

In the last years, the topic of the marriage has change a lot. Now many couples decide living together, without obligation, this happens in places like city where life is less important, and in many places like the camp still are costumes like to marriage. I think many people do not get marriage because always more the people want more and many characterizes, and now anyone can life without couple, for many people is not necessary, it more important a job or others things. Also, many married couples now a day get divorced very early after their marriage. This can be for many reasons, but I think this happens for the same I wrote before, for the people marriage is not the most important, at that time. Also the divorce can happen because it don`t exist trust, the couple never knows one another, then when they live in the same home really know the person who is. I think the marriage is very serious, woman and men, have the responsibility before to say I DO.

Simple Life

In the last year with the globalization, the life is much accelerated, and we have neglected costumes like make the dinner, now the people only eat in the restaurants or fast food.
Like this there have been many changes,trying to simplify our life, but we don´t know how beneficial it is. Sometimes some things truly help us like technology in electrical appliance; for example, the washing machine, it really saves us time and is very useful, but also it has disadvantages, like the costs the electricity, the bill can be very high. Like washing machines exist many kinds of electrical appliances that help us and harms us too.
Other kind with which we simplify life, and we use a lot, is to use the blackboard in our university; for me this service help us a lot in our courses, and I think it is beneficial for the environment, because with this we recycle, and we help the world, and also is a comfort for the students.
Respect to the food, our diet has changed a lot; as I wrote in the first lines, now we don´t complicate, only we eat fast food or in restaurants, and this is very detrimental to our health, it is ok if you eat in this places one time in the week, but every day no.
I know that simple life is better in many aspects, but we should choose the good things but many costumes are detrimental to our health.

Storytelling

The storytelling is an art to tell stories there can be many kinds the stories for example; terror or funny ones. Who practice the storytelling should have many abilities for the story becomes interesting, and the people that listen imagine each character, and the different ambient during the story. The storyteller uses different type of sounds with the voice or applause, also walks in the auditorium, and imagines all whit his or her words. I think the culture of the storytelling has been lots a lot, now many parents do not tell stories to their children at the night, they do not have time for their children and that is very to the tell stories is something to share in family and enjoy together. We should preserve this culture, and supports the people who want to professional storytellers with those us don´t lose this culture.

Tourism

In the world, the tourism is very important in many aspects like economical income or to travel and see different places.

Costa Rica is very famous for our tourism. In our country exists many and beautiful places. Many tourists of all the world come to Costa Rica to search adventures or have relaxing vacations, there exist many types of tourism like adventure tourism which you can enjoy in Monteverte to practice canopy, also in Turrialba you can practice the rafting. Other type is eco-tourism, when you see the nature, you enjoy the peace of the trees and the birds and others species, in many National Parks you can enjoy that. And the rural tourism is to meet the cities in the country, in our country is not famous as places like Rome or Barcelona, but there exist tours like this in San José.

Many people in Costa Rica make a living out of tourisms, they own hotels or places.

Some day, I will travel to Europe, and visit many places like Madrid, Rome, Paris; all cities. This continent is very famous for the attractive places in all world, and for me it is a dream to achieve.

Language

In the world, each country has different languages, although in many places the people speak the same language, there always exists different words, that are used the different manners.
In America the people speak different languages. For example, in USA the people speak English, in Brazil Portuguese, and in Latin America; generally, we speak Spanish. In Europa, each country has this own language. In Asia, most countries speak Mandarin, this language is the most spoken language in the world.
In Costa Rica, we speak Spanish, despite this, other languages; for example, English in Limón and in many workplaces like “call centers”, the are indigenous languages, that are very important to our culture, but we are not interested in these languages and to preserve them. This is important to mention to the use of words in different places; for example, in Zarcero we use the word “Gracejo” to refer to something very funny, and in San José the people don´t know what is the meaning the this word. Like there exists many others terms used in others places in own country.
We have to preserver own language, and be proud of it.

Extreme Sports

In own life for have a good health we need to do exercise and one type to exercises is the sports. There are many kinds the sports, like soccer, tennis, volleyball, etc. Also exist the extreme sports, this are different sports, and sometimes not will good for your health.
In the last years the extreme sports has grown a lot in the practice of the people. In this kind the sports sometimes expose your life but apparently the people don´t care that, because they want fell the adrenaline.
Some examples are a bungee, rafting, surfing, and others. These sports practice in different places, depend the sport, for example the canopy is practice in the mountain, surfing in the beach, each sport depend the place.
I think the extreme sports can be a good manner to distract and relax, but you have to very careful, because your life is in danger, and you can die.
To practice extreme sports you have use the equipment necessary for your health.

Fraud

Fraud is a crime against us, this do for people who want get your money or something of yours. In your life can occur many types of frauds, since one person who pretends to be yourself or someone which steal you. In the world, in the last years have occurs a new type of fraud, like is the phishing, it is wend you receive e-mails from people; you give information and then this person you scam.
The internet mediate for these types of frauds, we should be careful with the information we give in the social network, because this can be used against us.

GLOBALIZATION!!!!!

The globalization is the idea to see the world like a any country, all country, only one population in the Planet Earth. There are many points of view about a globalization, for many people is the way grow economically, other people think it is the loss of identity. I think the globalization is good if exist a control, is good idea more jobs, and more products the others countries, and also we are to adapt costums other countries, particularly the U.S., we language is modified with American words, and other costumes, but with that Where is our culture? We should control with globalization, we must don´t forget own customs, own language, and more important own culture.

ADS

The ads in the world have a many importance because thank them; we know all happen with a commercial companies, or other companies every day. I think we should be careful whit some ads, because sometimes the information is not true. Exist many types to ads, can be ads funny or gross for example. I love the ads to “preserve planet” I think these ads are very beautiful and taught to appreciate nature and different animals and care them. The people who make commercials are very creative and I admire them, but I think that some ads are not appropriate for television, the ads can see all people children and adults.

Introduction

Hi! My name is Carolina Araya. I am from to Zarcero, but I live in San José during the week, and on weekends I go to Zarcero. My happiness is my family. I have two brothers, their names are Jeremy and Nilton, and one sister, her name is Marcela. I love my siblings. My father is a great father, his name is Freddy and my mother is a good person, her name is Isabel. In my free time, I like to watch TV, listen to music, cook, dance, and specially play with my dogs, they are two, and their names are Tutto and Cody. They are very beautiful. I study the career of dentistry. I want to be a great professional and help people to have beautiful smiles. I study in ULACIT. It is a great university for my major, and I hope to graduate soon. I am very happy with my life. Thank God I have forces to live every day.
